hi there, loopers!
today, i fired up the little V, clunked into gear, and went off down
the street. tried to shift into 2nd, and ooops! it's DOWN for 2nd,
stupid! watched the odometer go from 01539 to 01540. put in 12 bucks
worth of go-go juice, and ripped up the big highway for a few miles.
wow, what a hoot! forgot how much fun these old girls can be! dancin'
with grandma, hahhahahaha!!!!
can ANYONE answer this question?? my buddy, Todd, used V700 triple
trees on his eldo project, because it has more rake, and the front
fender clears the convert engine's alternator nicely. however, on his
very first ride, he crashed. said the bike wouldn't steer. could there
be a problem with the geometery [not enough trail, for instance] ????
the breather box is leaking pretty good, and i am wondering if he slid
in his own oil. don't know. btw- Todd gets his casts off tommorrow. he
has plates in his left wrist and right hand. on the mend.
thanks for any ideas,
Andy
