Greg,
I bought the Hellas and found the brackets weren't long enough. Made
some from 1/8th inch steel and a couple coats of paint and clear coat. I
was afraid of the aluminum stock. Felt wimpy and I know the Guzzis like
to vibrate.

I made a simple straight bracket about 2 1/2" long out of 1" wide aluminum (1/8" thick) so that I could mount them just below the top crash front crash bar mount using the standard 8mm bolt. The engine vibration was too much for the aluminum and one of my brackets broke in half right where the bolt went through it. Looks like I'll need to use regular mild steel or stainless. Charlie, did you use stainless for your brackets on Sophia?
