Of the three big wires coming out of your distributor, follow the center
one. It will lead you to the coil.

Oh don't hate me for this one, but where is my coil?? I am trying to troubleshoot my tach, which "suddenly quit" according to the previous owner. I seem to have a good ground. I have continuity through the blue-black wire (should be positive side of coil). I have NO continuity through the black wire (should be negative side of coil). I want to run an external jumper from the negative coil to the black terminal to see if its a break in the wire. But I don't understand where the coil is. I know so sad. Thanks for your pity and help. -AJ AJ Huff '71 Ambassador Three Rivers, MI MGNOC# 19917 |
