I think that you really need two horns to make a loud enough audible
statement - one high and one low. Each one sounds loud by themselves but
the volume seems to be 10 times greater when together.

I put set of Fiamms (original sounded like a dead rabbit call) hi/los on my
'76 CB 750F with a relay and everyone jumps when they go off. I put a pair
of Nikko (these complement the bike's style - look like the Hella horns but
with a shiny chrome grill) hi/lows on the Eldo; not as loud as the Fiamms
but pretty loud; and no relay required.

And Harbor Freight sells both a hi and lo edition of the horn referenced
below (click on the 'about Fiamm horns' on the web page.

Hi Jack,

Since the horn is intermittent in nature, I really wouldn't worry about
the amperage it draws.

Personally, I think Charlie made a good call with his Hella horns he has
on his new beauty. They draw a little over 5 amps and have both high and
low tones. I'm thinking about getting a pair myself and mounting them
somehow in the original location...perhaps pointing sideways, but I need
to do some checking on clearances, first.

I also think that the Harbor Freight one will work just fine for you.
Plus, it's quite a bit cheaper.
