I have hydro-locked a Guzzi. Not a loop but a T3. Drove it into 3 feet
of water at 50mph. Put up a heck of a wave. Did some serious damage to
the rod/piston/valves/flywheel bolts. But the crank was fine!

Don't think the starter/battery would have enough ooomph to do any
damage. Just wouldn't turn over.

Never seen it happen but I've heard of potential hydro-lock. I seem to
remember seeing some photos of parts after hydro-lock. Bent rods,
screwed up pistons, ect. Anyone expand on this?
