No, there is only one base gasket. I installed it myself when I put it
together a few years ago. Unfortunately, I did not take measurements of
everything at the time. I was just entering the loop-arena at the time.

The compression numbers concern me, too. But I don't have comparison

Do you know the history of this motor? Years ago, we used to buy
thicker base gaskets or stack two base gaskets to reduce compression on
pinging motors with bad '80's gasoline. Any suspicion of that here?
