This past Saturday, I replaced my 120/90 front and rear with a 100/90
front and a 110/90 rear. My rear tire was worn out and I wanted to try
the narrower tires. I've only got about 75 miles on them so far and they
aren't even scuffed in properly yet, but I'm already impressed with my
new found skills in the twisties. This made a HUGE difference for me as
I was able to take corners much quicker. :> Ken Pitts, weren't you going to
try 120s
 this year?

I'm glad you like the narrower tires, I've been advocating narrower tires on
loops for a couple of years to no avail. For what ever reason the rear race
compound tires come in an 80 profile, so my 110/80 rear was a little shorter
than the street version. I am now running a 120/80 on the rear. I switched from
the 110/80 because I felt the height would help my ground clearance & steepen
the head angle. I gained .5" at the rear axle with the 120/80, I've only had
two days on the track with the new tire size but so far I would say it is a
noticeable improvement. I'm still running the 90/90 front.
