Definitely show it, this Jan. our club had a booth for the Int'l
Cycle Show at the IX center here in Cleveland. One of the members
brought his unrestored 'barn fresh' HD flathead. Rusty and crusty, but
it ran. We spread a bunch of straw on and around it and it got more
attention than all the rest of the bright shiny restored bikes, and we
had things like Knuckleheads, Indians and a 1912 Sears twin.

Hi all, This Sat., at ALL Devry Universities, we will be haveing X-treem Days. Lots of events and computer games. There is also going to be a small car and motorcycle show. I would like to display my V700, but it is unrestored, and has a couple of cosmetic problems. I would like to show it, but I don't want to give people a bad representation of a fine motorcycle marque, either. What do you think I should do? The bike looks like an old bike, that's all. Hmmmm. Or, I could have my friend display his perfect '74! Or both!! |
