Stock was 4.00H18, if you can't find that size anymore, I believe a
close equivalent is 120/90-18?

Spent the past weekend (damned near all of it) detailing Giuseppe. Got my tube of Wenol Thursday; started polishing Friday and I'm not done yet. Best method for cleaning is to use 4 aught (000) steel wool with Wenol 1st, then finish up with a Dremel buffing wheel and wenol. Have done the front wheel assembly, gen belt cover, and valve covers - along with all the chrome. I'm almost outta polish, FWIW. The bike is looking GREAT! Re-did my valve clearances and took Giuseppe out for an extended ride Sunday. I'm a little disappointed in the HP output; had hoped the bike had more beans. It's not bad, though; about as fast as a late model Mustang GT. I really like the way it motors along at 60 MPH - feels like it could roll on forever. I have a low rez pic (taken by a cell phone) if anyone is interested in seeing one righteous Guzzi. Next step is to throw a set of wide whites on the bike - which brings up a question... What size tire? |
