Well folks,
I'll call it a draw. After a year and a half I finally settled with the
insurance company over the Ambo. I fired the good for nothin' lawyer,
Well, not really, I can't get a hold of him to fire! I decided enough
was enough, I got the bike back, and some cash. Not what they insured it
for, but hey, a man can't ride pride! Glad to have it under my belt and
Get to get on with my life, it's time to rebuild.
I don't have the bike in my possession yet, it is sitting in the garage
of the good man that owns Detroit Eurocycles
http://www.detroiteurocycles.com/
Let me put a bit of praise to Jeff for putting up with storing the thing
all this time and being a pal. This guy defiantly knows what the Guzzi
"community" is all about. I owe some beers at the least.
I have not seen the bike for sometime, but I know it needs a frame,
front fender, fender braces, front wheel and front forks(which I already
purchased off ebay).
I know there are dents/dings in the tank, which I will try to deal with,
because there is good chrome there already. Probably needs a headlight
bucket also.
Yeah, I'll be calling you Mark.....
Anyone that has some nice pieces that I listed, please email me off
list,
We might be able to make a deal.
Thanks for all on the list that offered their suggestions on ways to
deal with this. They all helped in one way or the other.
