The Civilian frame has no hole and was not intended for rear crash bars.
The Police frame does have this hole and it is backed by another piece
of flat steel so that the mounting point is double thick at this
location. Yes, it is possible to drill out the Civilian frame if you
wish, but realize you are weakening the frame gusset at this point.
