Thanx for pointing out the flaw Paul.
Ordered some new exhaust header nuts with the lock feature from MG
Cycle. Will clean up the cosmetics of the old ones and also prevent the
nut from loosening. I'm also going to fabricate some brackets to try to
lower the mufflers. Don't like how high they angle up towards the rear
of the bags.

Got the Shift Offset Bracket installed, a few glitches along the way, induced by me, but it's all together. Did some waxing of the recently installed sheet metal to get rid of the fingerprints, and installed the Wixom bags - need to get a longer bolt to hold the rear bag mount and rear hand grip to the frame. Project is now on hold waiting for the arrival of the sidecovers, tool box bolts, re-chromed heel-toe civilian shifter, and tank from Mark E. The speedo rebuilding at Palo Alto Speedometer should be complete by late next week also. In the meantime, I posted 16 more pix of the progress. Again, my camera is not the best so the pix are pretty good but not great. Pix sure do make a bike look better than in person though. Here is the link to the pix: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/klruff3/album?.dir=/6aab Enjoy! Have a Great Weekend.
