Beans and rice...that was for the days when i was feeling rich! I
survived on ramen noodles for my BS, MS, and PhD (ask Gordon what those
initials stand for). I used to watch the paper for ads so that I get
somewhere between 15 and 20 of the little packages for a dollar. Then,
I'd walk down to the grocery store and pick up 10 dollars worth and
carry them back to the apartment.
Now about selling my white blood cells so that I could buy 12 packs of
Meister Brau in a can...I'm just glad I'm not living like that anymore -
it was a rough decade.

Jim, you're a helluva guy! My kids were on their own for grad school, barely got them through to their bachelor's!! and had to eat a lot of beans and rice to do that :>p steve ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Beeler To: Loopfram-@topica.com Sent: Friday, March 11, 2005 5:25 AM Subject: Re: Off topic Guzzi question I'm not quite ready yet. I've got to see how the finances go over the next 6 months (daughter in grad school). On the bright side she's doing her master's and PHD at the same time so that should shorten the pain.
