Hi Charlie,
I am very happy with my Oxtar Matrix Gore-Tex boots...haven't gotten my
feet wet yet...although I didn't venture out during actual huricanes
last fall.

I'd like to buy a pair of waterproof riding boots when riding season is
a bit closer. Any recommendations of a brand and model that is really
waterproof? I read an old test where the only one that was truly
waterproof was the Sidi GT Sympatex. But being "frugal", I'd rather keep
wearing my Beiffe boots w/Treds overboots than spend nearly $300. Or buy
the Gore-tex socks from REI the test mentioned. Looking for something
that is more in the $150 range. Thanks!
Charlie
