Just a curiosity question here. I am having an Ambo Veglia speedo
restored at Palo Alto. It is the V700/early Ambo style round dial.
This speedo ranges from 0 - 150 mph (30mph increments,
0-30-60-90-120-150), but I have also seen round dial Veglias go from 0 -
120 mph (20mph increments, 0-20-40-60-80-100-120). My 71 Ambo had a
120mph speedo but had increments of 10mph all the way up to 120mph.
Which speedo was normally installed on early loops? Was there a mish
mosh of 150 mph and 120 mph speedo's on loops with different increments?
Or was one rare to the breed? This may be a Greg Field question.
