I would also go with sleeved cylinders. You are halfway there with new
pistons and rings.Spend a little more now or when you can and it will last
for many trouble free miles. The last set of cyl. I had sleeve (about
3yrs.ago)where under 250. Dave

The ones on his bike are peeling badly and I am putting it back together for him- and he can't afford the $600 gilardoni set from MG- on the plus side I do have a set of new pistons and rings (original size). I know it is not a great idea to use new pistons with used cylinders, but if it can get him around for 10k miles or so it would be great. I might have some bits and pieces to put towards trade: used good shape koni shocks from a v7sport "" marzocchi shocks from a lemans1 a loop tank painted over chrome but very straight Berkeley, CA '72 Eldo '74 Eldo police '73 v7sport project '95 1100sport carb Your free subscription is supported by today's sponsor: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Get a FREE* MP3 Player - yours to keep!
