** Not knowing what the metal is on the speedo housing. Find someone who
works in a shop and have the holes filled with alumimun welding rod,
Grind, sand, polish. The "surfboards" on my bike had a square cut out
of the front to clear a police kickstand assembly. Unless you look at
the bottom you'd never know!
I'm still trying to polish it out but I'm having trouble cutting through the oxidation. There's stuff on it that is black in color > and blotchy. |
** Have you tried sanding it with 150 or 220? Then 400, 1000 then the
polishing wheel!
