Hey Brian - if you have a thick head, then most of us do,
cuz many of US learned a lot from your thread as well -
nuthin wrong with learning lessons - especially from the
experienced wrenches on this list - Ha! I'm sure it won't
be MY last lesson I learned.

Thanks for all of the responses- special thanks for Greg Bender who
actually walked me through the connections and saved ne from replacing
my generator looking for a short- the problem turned out to be the way I
was wiring one of the dashlighs that only had a single connection-
lesson learned this time : just because you got the bike that way
doesn't mean it is right (yes i have learned this lesson before- I must
have a thick head)
