Ron, Solenoids fail fairly regularly but are not that difficult to repair.
And.. once you do it the first time the next time you do it, it's almost

I have a Marelli starter on '68 V-700...I suspect the Bosch solenoid doesn't
work on this? Looked at Harper's & MG & didn't see a replacement either.
Is this something that's obtainable, or is there a suitable replacement?
