Hey Joe, how ya been?

I think my 70 Ambo has a lightened flywheel. Amongst the $5000 worth of
receipts from the previous owner to Mick (whom I bought the bike from)
was a receipt for a flywheel. I have no idea why he would have replaced
it, other than probably being replaced with a lightened flywheel when he
attached the sidecar. The guy spent a ton of money getting this bike
set up for a chair, including the rear drive gear swapout that I sold on
e-bay. I did notice when I took this Ambo for a ride that it was damn
fast from a stop - I probably could have lifted the front wheel in the
1st 3 gears if I tried hard enough. Blew my mind as I don't remember
the 71 Ambo being this darn fast from a stop. Should be an awesome mod
to junkyard. Be ready!

If anybody was curious, I'm the guy who won the 1100 Sport
clutch/flywheel on eBay recently. Yea, I'm planning on putting it into
Junkyard. It's clutch was doing the big drag; I was planning on updating

to a 4mm hub, new friction plates, a new intermediate plate, and
springs. I've often thought about how nice a lighter flywheel would be.
Now I'm going to do both! It's a bolt-up operation - I'll let you know
how it goes.
