Bob,
Check back a few posts to some of mine on the generator. I posted what I
found on the bosch as far as ohm readings. Can't remember it off hand.

Still working on the charging system. I stumbled across a good write up
in an older car repair book on generator systems. Looks like I may have
an issue with the field circuit on my ELDO. Does anyone know the proper
resistance of the field? My Moto Guzzi service manual only details the
Mannelli Gen and shows 4.6 ohms +-.5 ohms. Can anyone confirm the rating
on the Bosch. If I have a short in the field windings somewhere it can
cause higher current through the system, but the voltage tests will look
good, and can fry the contacts in the regulator which is my problem at
this time. Any and all Bosch gen specs appreciated. Anyone want to ohm
out there gen and let me know what the reading is? I'll owe you a beer
or 2.
BOB
