springer seat is alot lighter, and looks like a British horse saddle for
the fox hunt. The OEM springer seat will have two small braces at the
front of the seat that mate up with the tank bolts.(I think) The police
saddle will have a U shaped bracket alittle ways back from the tip of
the seat, and a bolt goes thru that and the frame.
I'd say that the police seat weighs 2X what the springer seat weighs...
Anybody else want to chime in?
