I just looked at a frame from a 1972 Eldo LAPD that I have in the
basement and I noticed that the VIN tag on the front was stamped like
this:
OCTOB 1972
1973 MOD
Frame:055243
Engine:055243
So my question is, was it pretty common for the factory to stamp the
"1973 MOD" on the tag as they were changing model years? I just haven't
noticed it before. Anybody else have it on their frames?
Thanks,
