Thanks for the info, Greg. I assume that the LM 1000 shocks are 13.25"
inches in length?

I put the longer Konis from a LM 1000 on my Eldo. No mods were
required. I also jacked up the front at the same time. In return, I got
much better ground clearance and it's much easier to roll onto the
centerstand. Unless I'm working it on a really tight road, I never
touch down, whereas before, it was commonplace.

Using a couple different lengths of flat iron, I drilled holes at 12.5"
and 13.25" center-to-center. I found that the 12.5" fit perfectly, but
that the 13.25" cause the swing arm to contact the center stand stop
tab. I was hoping to use 13.25" rear shocks to add some additional
ground clearance. I would like to hear from those riders who are
running
13.25" rear shocks. Did you have to change the position of the center
stand stop tab? If you did, I wonder if the lowered center stand is now
just as bothersome as with the shorter shocks and the higher center
stand when cornering? What other changes might you have made to
accomodate the longer shocks?
