Welp, I finally dug out the '61 Vespa from the old lady's shed, and what
a heap! Everything appeared to be there, but in way worse shape than I
ever thought. Body solid, but with surface rust all over, rusted parts
strewn about, and only 3,300 miles! Way to much work for the likes of
me. Anyone else more motivated, let me know. You'd get it cheap. Dave,
this site looks interesting, and it's somewhat local. Once again, your
wisdom prevails. If anyone else has a Vespa (or the like) scooter in
decent shape they're willing to part with, contact me off line.
