There's a scooter shop in Chicago that has a catalog of everything to
restore one....the MG Cycle of Vespa's.

My buddy just purchased a one owner, barn kept/ratty for 20 yrs for $300
to keep his new one company. I'd have to think that Vespa owners are
"thrifty" also and reluctant to pay restoration costs on vintage ones
when new ones and clones are relatively cheap. Look at
www.cycletrader.com for new,clones & oldies.
