Congrats Don, looks like you have a mutt. By the sounds of it, the PO was collecting a bunch of parts to make his own custom. Which reinforced piece are you refering too? The one just under the seat where the rear crash bars mount?

Hi Guys,

I wonder if anyone can help me figure out what I have. I am restoring an
Eldo loop frame, which was a basket case when I bought it. The tag on
the frame head says it is a 1975 model, but I thought they quit making
these in 1974. Also, if it is a '74, I think it should have a disc
brake, but it has the standard drum brake (one-side). Let's see, it does
have the reinforced area behind the rear crash bar mount on the frame,
so I guess that makes it a Police model. It also has the police dash. It
came with the ignition and mount for down on the left side, but also
came with two tool boxes. One more confusing thing is that it has a
standard brake pedal and heel-toe shifter, without linkage. It also came
with oversized aluminum running boards, which won't bolt on, as they hit
the front left crash bar. As if all of this weren't weird enough, it had
a king-queen seat and civilian bars. Any idea what this pile-o-parts was
/ is?

Thanks,

Don
