Subject: pictures of clutch (and wixom luggage key)

Well I finally got my clutch opened up. This bike hadn't been ridden for at
least 6 years probably more. Everything worked well but the clutch was like
a switch, either on or off.
This is what it looked like:

There's no obvious wear on any of the teeth (except the ring gear, which
Gary Cheek has generously supplied me with a new one) but there was a LOT of
crap that was caked into the teeth of the clutch hub. I'm planning on
measuring the material left on the plates, but I'm thinking all I need is
new plates. Anything look amiss here? Would all of that caked on crap
account for the clutch grabbiness, or does wear have to play a part?
