Bob:
I don't spray lots of stuff, hate to do bodywork. What I use for
little bits and pieces is a Binks jamb gun, not gravity feed but a small
touch up gun that holds about 1/2 pint. Just about right for bike parts.
It's what I happen to have.
The main difference between gravity feed (HVLP) and regular sprayers
is that the gravity feed works on lower pressure and doesn't send most
of your paint into the air (and all over everything in the vicinity). I
guess it's the newer hot way to go. You might consider a touch up size
gun, though. You'll never spray an entire quart on a bike.
And what the heck is a Spanish Lube? Sounds like something they do
in jail.

I need a paint sprayer. Is gravity feed best. There are some on Ebay for $20 - $30. I don't want to spray vast quantities of paint, just need something for small paint jobs. |
