Thanks for all the replies re: my fouled spark plug.
It's not the choke cable - I use flip chokes in both
my bikes. The plug is 5 years old, but has less then
20k on it. Oh, well, I'll replace 'em both. The
in-line filters look clean, but perhaps there is some
gunk in the carb anyway. Time to take it apart - carb
disassembly is free. ;-)
The filters are that dirty, but the foam seems to be
disintegrating. Those filters from Cycle Garden: are
they from Emgo? Non-oiled paper elements? The look
like something a local shop carries. Do they attach
directly to the carb, or can the stock air horns be
retained? I couldn't really tell that from the
picture.
Some people ask a lot of questions. Sorry!
