Hi Bob,

My understanding is that you can use a NAPA part number VR32SB or
MPEVR32SB. I've not done this, so I'm not absolutely sure how the wiring
is performed. I believe there are three connections:
1. ground
2. battery
3. generator

I know my stock Bosch regulator has two wires that go to the generator:
1. White - goes to generator (DF terminal)
2. Grey/Red - goes to generator (D+ terminal)

So, I'm not sure how to go about wiring the Napa regulator to handle
this. Perhaps someone here with experience can add further details.

Mine is probably on the way out. The light comes on while riding and
when I tap on it briskly the light will go out. Pulled it off and took
off the cap. Anyone got a diagram for the Bosch regulator, my manual
shows a Marelli with 3 coils, mine has two? On of the contacts, side
with dual contacts looked to have almost welded together, I removed the
small droplet of metal between the contacts and cleaned up the surface.
I get about 1 ohm from one side of contact to the other side when
closed, is this going to be OK? Is there a replacement regulator that
can be picked up at NAPA or an equivalent(VW or Fiat?)? I saw something
about a Bosch electronic regulator, Is it working OK for the guy who
posted a week or so again?

Thanks for any info.
Bob
