The charging systems are not interchangeable, but I believe the starters
are. A friend of mine has a bosch starter on his ambo with a marreli
generator.

The bosch and marelli parts will not interchange. Your best bet is to try
and
pick up a bosch unit, which can be serviced at any auto electrical shop

I was under the impression that the Bosch and Marelli electrics as a whole
