Thanks for the info
I checked out the tank clocks, kind of cool but one guy who is selling them stated they run on a 27 volt system. I imagine the other similar ones take the same voltage. Military stuff is strange. My friend has an old army jeep that has a 24 volt system. Anyway I found the site with the bar clocks. it ishttp://www.formotionproducts.com/
if anyone is interested, they have some cool stuff. I may buy a tank clock anyway. It will give me an excuse to buy a Ural and I can use the side car to haul the batteries.

Check ebay for "russian tank clock" or something along those lines. I
remember stumbling onto these clocks from old (WWII ?) tanks being sold off
as military surplus. Was gonna look back into it myself one of these days.
Yes they are shock resistant :-)

That's good!
I have a sigma BC800 bicycle computer on my eldo. It gives
time/speed/distance/etc. Cost is $15, but you have to hook it up.
A nice, higher-end company that produces watches for bikes is
'formotion'. Is that the one you were thinking of?

every year I pick up an "el Cheapo" watch for around $5 and cement it onto a refridgerator magnet. Put it right on the gas tank, throw it away when it stops running. Vince in NY Skip & Jane wrote:
