Yes, the MG Cycle team won championships with their bike. I watched Dave
race the bike several times, it was great to see them win many races & take the
championship. The bike they raced is a Tonti frame bike, I point this out only
because you mentioned doing a Loopframe production. Another team that has done
very well is Stan's Moto Guzzi out of Gainesville Fl. Stan is fielding a
spline frame Guzzi & competing against modern twins. I have not seen Charlie Cole
at the AHRMA races this year but he has been very competitive on his Tonti
racer. Andrew Murray has also done very well, winning the 2003 class championship
in Vintage Superbike Middleweight riding a Lemans3. Over the years there have
been enough Guzzis on the track at AHRMA events, that the marquee is very
well respected by fellow racers.
