Ron,
Hope Paul continues to do well. I was at the rally and hate to hear that
anyone wrecked along the way. Does Paul have any idea what caused his
bike to start to wobble and loose control? I think I will go out and
tighten all the bolts on my Eldo again.

Guzziesti, I heard from Guzzi friend Paul Hanel from Ohio this weekend-with a painful story to tell. On the way home from the North Carolina rally Paul's T-5 suddenly developed a speed wobble-tank slapper that ended in a HARD crash. Paul spent considerable hospital time getting physical damage, including several bones that needed rebuilt attended to. He is back home now, healing & rehabbing, and has turned his attention to his bike. The '84 T-5 rolling chassis & sheet metal are totaled. Paul didn't have full insurance coverage & is now trying to build a bike w/limited funds. He has located a '78 T3 complete except for motor & transmission & wants to know if the square head motor/tranny from the T-5 will bolt up in the T-3 frame. Can anyone help? Has anyone done something similar? Paul is not on the list, e-mail him at path-@dragonbbs.com or land line (740) 554-5438. Paul needs the help of the Guzzi community to get back on the road. Thanks, Ron Komoroski |
