I have on off my Ambo that I need a replacement damper for. Any suggestions
on where to get one?

If Charlie doesn't have the complete set-up I'll dig mine out (bike is
totally disassembled at the present) and take some photos.

Charlie and Lannis,
Any chance either of you could get a photo of this, installed or
otherwise before it's over? Both would be great. That would help my
efforts in finding one or making something else work.
Thanks
Ray

Hi Lannis,
From what I remember the stock Guzzi damper attaches with a bracket that

clamps around the right frame downtube and on the other end bolts to the

bottom of the lower fork yoke. There's a little curved piece that fits
into the underside of the yoke and is held in place with a bolt from
above. The damper then bolts onto this piece from underneath.

I think there's a n.o.s. damper and little curved piece in all of my
stuff, but don't think I have the clamp part. I'll check and see, if
you're interested. Cheers,

Charlie -

I am interested; if you can check and see how close you can come to
selling me a "kit", I'll take what you've got and make or source the
rest.

I'm about convinced that a damper will fix me right up....

Thanks!

Lannis
