Hi TT,
Cleaned the engine for my budget Loop project today and used Gunk
degreaser first and scrubbed all the heavily soiled areas with a stiff
bristled toothbrush. Rinsed well and blew most of the water off with
compressed air. Then used Eagle 1 wheel cleaner (for cast wheels) and a
stainless steel brush for places that needed attention. Rinsed very well
and again blew most of the water off with compressed air. Finally, S100
to remove anything left with a little more toothbrush and long-bristle
brush (for down between fins) work for areas I missed before. Looks
mighty purdy now! Cheers,

So, what little secret formulas do each of you use to clean the cases? There has been a NAPA product mentioned, and TarnX....Anyone care to weigh in? My cases are not that pretty and I never ever paint engines black. Thanks! 74 4ls LAPD |
