Nice explanation of the different advance springs,
Patrick. I had often wondered about that. My Ambo came
with the thick, loop-end spring, but when I replaced
the springs MI sent me the later style springs. It
seemed to me (clearly) that my off-the-line
accelaration was decreased by the new setup, but the
pinging was cured.
