If anyone is looking for a nice V700 to fix up, Milligan Cycle Shop
(Wolcott, IN (219)279-2280) had a complete but partially disassembled
one with some interesting accessories for sale. The bike was a white one
w/black panel on the tank and red pinstriping. The original paint looked
good as did the chrome panels. It had the "long-nosed" police fairing
(exactly the same as mine, only much nicer condition), optional metal
legshields and the police saddlebag mount with small metal 'bags. They
were asking $2000 for everything and would not separate. If I had the
bucks it would be in my garage now. Nice thing is it wouldn't have to be
(and shouldn't be in my opinion) restored, rather just cleaned up,
polished, the mechanicals put right and ridden. Hope this interests
someone...
