I had a bike shipped from Denver to St. Petersburg for 400 dollars through
federal (allied van lines). They come and get the bike and roll it on a
special pallet and strap it down. If you lower the insurance coverage, they
will give you a cheaper price.

Anyone know of a reliable and reasonably priced shipper that will pick
up and ship an uncrated bike from a private residence? I bought a bike
from a guy in Indiana and I need to get it to Florida. The seller won't
crate it or bring it to a terminal. I'd hate like hell to have to go get
it myself.
