I have to replace the con rod shells on my 81 CX and wanted to know if it would be wise to keep the existing nuts and bolts? This bike is my commuter so it gets city driving and hardly any freeway riding so the stress is low. Other than purchasing the shells, installing and torquing the bolts is there anything else I need to look for? The crank is not scored.
Thanks,
