These guys should do their home work before they try to scam some one. I
bought a burned up Jackal for parts and have been selling items off on the
net. I got this email on it
hello my name is richard steinburg,i saw ur advert placing on internet where
the price was stated as $ and i will like to purchase it and make payment
with U.S Cashiers check.if this suit your purpose kindly send it last price
condition and current pics if available.urgent respond needed.thanks

I told them I wanted 20,000 for what was left and this was their reply

but am had of hearing and my doctor told me to move away from noise.hope we

and i want you to delete the ad from the website, i have a reputable shipper
that will take care of shipping from your end i want to let you know i have
a client in the state that is oweing me a sum of $27,000 , i will instruct
him to issue you a certified cashier's cheque on my behalf and as soon as
cheque arrives, you hold out your amount and send the difference to my
shipper for the pick up in your place, i hope i can trust you for my
balance??? and also you will be contacting my shipper with all neccesary
information needed for pick up in your place i.e the actual weight and exact
dimension of the{2000 Jackal] . if this terms are okay by you, do get back

What a deal ! I friend of mine even got a cashiers check for more then he
was asking for some BMW parts, then it was added that he was to take the
difference and forward to a PO box to cover the shipping. I told him he
would find out in a month that the cashiers check was counterfeit and the
bank would want the funds back. I just thought it was funny as to the
stupidity of these people. If you are going to scam people they should know
what they are talking about or at least use spell check. One lady in my
area did fall though this while trying to sell a big boat. Oh well
