A pic would help!

Another way for me to describe this fairing would be to say that it had
a roll of blubber over the headlight hole, completely across the whole
fairing!

Hi Tom,
Could be a Calafia - they have "scalloped" areas on either side of the
headlight and a "peak" above the headlight with character lines leading
back to the trailing edge. I have one off of the R75/5 that came with my

V7 Sport. If you'd like some pics let me know. Also popular on Loops are

Bates and Wixom fairings. Cheers,

Hi all,

I have a question about fairnigs.

I have seen four different styles of fairings on loops. One has the V7
imprinted right above the headlight on what I'd call a standard fairing.

I have seen two different styles of the stock(?)fairing w/windshield.
One is the early V7 type with the elongated front for the bigger
headlight bucket, and the other, the more common shorter-nosed style.
BUT, those are both smoothish over the headlight hole. I have one that
is rather bulbous over the headlight hole. I think that maybe this is
also an original V7 fairing. I do not know who it is made by, though.

The last fairing for loops is, of cours the big 'ol Windjammer..

Any thoughts on the bulbous fairing???
