I put a brass 90 degree elbow into the vacuum port on each intake manifold. These are then interconnected with a 1/4" rubber hose. The 90 degree fitting routes the hose up and over the manifolds, and the interconnection may have some beneficial effect on idle operation. The real reason for this was to make it really easy to hook up the Twin Max for carb balancing. The difference between being "close" and "spot on" in balance is amazing.
