Hi,
My trans and rear drive were blessed by knowledgable friends as being
road worthy, so I simply spent a few hours cleaning, polishing, etc.
They are both currently drained and may remain unridden for many months
yet. I have run out of money and don't know when I'll finish this
project. Oh, I *will* finish it.
Question is, should I fill them, or at least partially fill, and spin
once in a while in order to keep it all lubed? Seems the thing to do but
I always appreciate the collective wisdom here. I won't have a rolling
chassis until I can buy a u-joint and clutch so trans and rear drive
will sit on the bench next to the motor for a while. My wrenching skills
are too fast for my wallet replenishing abilities.
Thanks.
Ray
