Since it finally stopped snowing, hailing, and raining frogs and
bowling balls last weekend (actually got up to the '50's!) I went
through the beginning of the year routine of pulling all the bikes off
of the chargers and starting them up for the first time. When I got to
the '69 Ambo, it was a bit reluctant to wake up, and when it finally
caught it had an odd chuffing sound, then started to smell like burnt
popcorn.
I gave it some throttle and it blew about a cup of corn out of the
left exhaust, the winter's stockpile of some industrious little mouse.
I've been known to reheat pizza on my engine between stops (C'mon,
honey, let's go for a ride, it'll be done when we get there), now I'm
wondering how to make popcorn for the drive in...
