Hi,
Thanks for the info. I have decided to stick with later model (4mm)stock
clutch on my Eldo rebuild. New questions are this:
1) if the once polished surfaces on the pressure plate and the starter
gear (very rearward toothed gear, bolts onto flywheel) are looking bad,
can they be resurfaced? Is it important? They are not scored but show
signs of chatter and maybe overheating.
2) what are pros and cons of bonded vs riveted friction plates?
Thanks
Ray
