Hi Jason and all,
Worked on planning my trip to the National in SD today some and so far my
iternary west looks like this:
Day 1 - Home to Lima, OH
Day 2 - Lima to Cedar Rapids, IA
Day 3 - Cedar Rapids to Sioux Falls, SD
Day 4 - Siouz Falls to Hill City, SD
On the return trip I'll probably head south through Nebraska and Kansas,
then east through Missouri into Tennessee. I was going to head on further
east into North Carolina and Georgia, but have had to scale back my plans a
bit. So, now I plan to go north from TN into Kentucky then return home up
through WV. The trip will still likely total nearly 4000 miles in all.
Jason, how close to Cedar Rapids do you live? Might be taking you up on your
offer if it's still good.
As my route evolves and gets more detailed, I'll let anyone interested know.
Cheers,
Charlie

For those of you coming from the south and east, I have a place for you to stay in eastern IA. Not sure I'll be able to make it to the nationals, but I can put a couple people up for a night (beats hotels). Tools are on-hand and a good dealer is nearby as well. Cheers, Jason |
