I had problems with the swingarm hitting the stop for the centerstand with my longer shocks. it was only a problem when the bike was parked or airborn :)

I hope I'm not going to have a real problem. I'm about to use a set of
13.25
shocks on my Ambo. Anyone know of any real problems with that?

When I built the Eldo (same frame), I used 13s to give me a little more ground clearance and to sharpen up the steering to some tiny theoretical amount. No problems with the rear wheel not getting off the ground on the centerstand. I think Guzziology recommends 13s to give a little more angle to the swingarm and keep the oil from migrating.

Seems as if V7/Ambo's came with two different lengths of rear shocks...either approx 12.5" or approx. 13" . Anybody know why/reason/better choice, etc.? thanks, Brett
