Other than the one I saw on eBay, yours is now the youngest.

I'm glad that mine was not the last off the line at #62662. Originally
a police model I civilianized it and scattered the "desirable" police
bits to the four winds via trades and ebay.

I think I gave the engine case with the all-important matching number to

Dave Otis when I found the SP motor that is in it now.

It was an incomplete basket when I got it from Mike Skaggs and I
continue to improve it as I go. Right now it is serving as ride to work

daily transportation because I am "restoring" my '00 Jackal. The Jackal

heads are with Mike Rich for renovation. When I get those heads back
and the Jackal back on the road the Eldo will have it's motor pulled and

the lightweight clutch/flywheel option will be explored along with a
stage 1 head job from Mike Rich.

The 36mm carbs were a revelation. I am looking forward to flowed heads
and some careful tuning with the O2 meter to optimize power and economy.

Shifting and clutch are good but I will be trying to improve both by
lightening the driveline and switching to a hydraulic clutch. I got the

15mm clutch M/C from Wolfgang Haerter at All Italia but I won't mess
with it until I have the other Guzzi to take me to work if things go
horribly wrong.

Sunny day today so I will be riding somewhere. I wonder if Chris
Mitchell is back from work...
